UMIC Specialized Siemens MRI & NordicNeuroLab System Training Oct. 7-9 & Oct. 28

The UNLV MR Imaging Core (UMIC) is hosting specialized, hands-on training workshops to support upcoming imaging research in October.

  • Siemens MRI Training Workshop: Oct. 7, 8, and 9, 2026
  • NordicNeuroLab System Training: Oct. 28, 2026 (specifically for research teams conducting functional MRI fMRI studies)

Session Schedules:

Both the Siemens training and the NordicNeuroLab training will run on the same schedule with two daily sessions, led by a dedicated specialist:

   Morning Session: 8-11:30 a.m.
   Afternoon Session: 12:30-4 p.m.

Please note: On Friday, Oct. 9, only the Siemens morning session is available.

If you are a Principal Investigator (PI) or student interested in attending, please register here. 

You will be asked to write a brief paragraph addressing the following points: MRI research project, proposed timeline, Principal Investigator, and session preference.

Due to strict capacity limits, seats are limited. The MRI Committee will review all applications and select attendees based on project readiness and applicability.
