On Thursday, April 23, we welcomed young rebels to our campuses to celebrate National Take Your Child to Work Day. Throughout the day, UNLV employees and their families enjoyed a wide range of activities hosted by departments, schools, and colleges across campus. From putting out fires to creating art, these hands-on experiences sparked curiosity and a love of learning in all who attended.
The Women’s Council extends its gratitude to everyone who helped to make the day a success, especially the departments that went above and beyond to create memorable experiences for our UNLV families. A special thank you to:
- The Office of the President for their support of this event and for donating water.
- The Early Outreach team for emceeing the lunch event
- RebelCard Services for their a long-standing support of this event
- Risk Management & Safety for partnering with the Nellis Air Force Base to bring their fire safety trailer to campus. This event is always a highlight for the attendees.
