Strategic Searching with ProQuest's AI Research Assistant Workshop Feb. 3

Join the University Libraries on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. for Strategic Searching with ProQuest's AI Research Assistant: A Critical, Hands-On Workshop. You can attend in-person in the Amargosa Room in Lied Library or online.

This workshop introduces participants to the ProQuest AI Research Assistant, an embedded, discipline-aware generative AI tool designed to strengthen search strategies, accelerate document evaluation, and support deeper engagement with scholarly literature.

Through live demonstrations and hands-on practice, participants will learn to use features such as key takeaways, findings, essential details, and topic visualizations, while developing strategies to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated outputs.

The session also addresses questions of accuracy, bias, academic integrity, privacy, and citation to ensure AI-assisted research is used ethically and responsibly.

This workshop is part of the Rebel+ Libraries Workshop Series. Please register.
