Showing Impact in the Arts Sept. 25

Join the University Libraries on Friday, Sept. 25 at 11:30 a.m. for the online workshop, "Showing Impact in the Arts."

In this introductory workshop, learn about the variety of ways to demonstrate the significance, impact, and reach of the unique types of scholarly and creative works in the visual and performing arts and other related disciplines.

This workshop briefly covers researcher IDs, bibliometrics, and altmetrics; however, the main focus will be on other methods of showing impact in the arts.

By attending this workshop, you will learn about tools and resources available to show the impact of their scholarly and creative works; compare and discuss quantitative and qualitative practices for demonstrating impact; and understand a variety of methods for telling the story of the significance, reach, and impact of your work.

This workshop is part of the 2026 Research Impact Challenge. Please register online if you'd like to attend.
