UNLV Early Outreach and the UNLV Debate Team are excited to invite students in grades 8-12 to participate in the Ronald Reagan Debate Series Las Vegas Regional Invitational on Saturday, April 25 beginning at 8 a.m.

This engaging, one-day event offers a fun and supportive introduction to debate for students of all experience levels—including those who have never participated before. Through a unique and interactive format, students will build confidence while developing skills in communication, critical thinking, leadership, and civic engagement.

Why participate?

  • Compete for up to $50,000 in national scholarships
  • Opportunity to win an all-expenses-paid trip to California
  • Cash prizes awarded to top debaters
  • Entry into a special raffle for a $4,500 scholarship to the Great American Leadership Program
  • Lunch is included for all participants

Whether your student is interested in public speaking, leadership, or simply trying something new, this is a great opportunity to grow their skills and share their voice in a welcoming environment.
