Reminder: UNLV Programs and Activities Involving Minors Survey Due Thursday May 21

Student Affairs and Risk Management and Safety are conducting a preliminary survey to identify UNLV programs, activities, and events that involve participants under the age of 18. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Summer camps and sport camps
  • Academic enrichment and tutoring programs
  • Research studies involving minors
  • Mentoring programs
  • Campus tours and field trips for K-12 groups
  • Daycare or childcare operations
  • Facility rentals to outside organizations for youth activities
  • Athletic or recreational activities involving physical contact
  • Online or virtual programs involving minors

If your department, unit, or program involves participants under the age of 18 in any capacity, please complete the survey by May 21, 2026. The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete.

If your department operates more than one program involving minors, please submit a separate response for each program. If you are unsure whether your program qualifies, please complete the survey and we will follow up with you.

We are gathering this information to establish a baseline understanding of the scope of youth-involved programming across campus. Your response will help inform a campus wide youth protection effort currently under development.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.
