As part of UNLV’s commitment to enhancing campus safety, the university is adding and upgrading phones and mounting them on walls in classrooms for ease of access. The project is taking place in phases. Phase 1 concluded in December 2025 and Phase 2 concluded in June 2026. The third and final phase will begin this month.

What to Expect
- Work hours: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
- Construction activities will be coordinated with class schedules to minimize disruptions
- Rooms will remain accessible. Class relocations are not anticipated
- Work may occur in hallways and other public places
- Temporary signage will be posted in affected areas
- Building occupants will receive at least three (3) days’ notice before construction begins
