My Professional Origin Story with VP of Government and Community Engagement, Constance Brooks Feb. 22

Join us at the UNLV Graduate College on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. to hear the inspiring professional journey of Constance Brooks. Raised with a devotion to her community, Constance shares her transition from a foundation in social work to her ascent to pivotal roles in public affairs and higher education. Her non-traditional story is a testament to the power of giving back, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the significant impact of education as a tool for leverage and opportunity.

The My Professional Origin Story series highlights the professional journeys of UNLV faculty and administrators. Origin stories matter. Understanding how people came to be where they are can give us insight into where we might be headed or how our own journeys unfold.

The event, which is open to the entire UNLV community, will take place in the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art Auditorium and will be livestreamed on YouTube
