Congratulations to Monesia Hobbs, academic coaching coordinator (CAEO), for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for March 2024. 

The nominator wrote:

“Monesia 'Mo' ensures that students not only receive the utmost care and support, but also that her peers in the office are adequately and effectively prepared to provide consistent and thorough advising. She is driven by a strong conviction to ensure that students understand UNLV’s identity as a Minority-Student Institution (MSI) and are exposed to the myriad of services and programs that support this designation. Mo freely shares lessons learned with students and colleagues which help all to develop a stronger understanding of life goals and the impact of experiences, both positive and negative, in the pursuit of higher education and beyond."

The Administrative Faculty of the Month Award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond to advance the mission of UNLV. The winning recipient receives a certificate and $150 to recognize their contributions. Nominations for the April award are due by the end of the month.
