Lot Z will close Wednesday, April 29 to stage equipment ahead of the garage structure construction, which is anticipated to begin the second week of May. 

The lot will remain closed for the duration of the project. Faculty and staff parking are available in Resident Lot A. 

Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2027. The multilevel garage, located south of the UNLV Rapid Transit Center, will add more than 1,250 parking spaces and include safety, accessibility, and sustainability enhancements.
