UNLV is opening a new space where learning comes to life. The Immersive Learning Lab uses virtual reality (VR) to help students learn by doing. Instead of just reading about a topic, they can step inside it.
Immersive Learning Lab Grand Opening
- Tuesday, March 24 | 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
- BEH 114 (Frank and Estella Beam Hall)
Students, faculty, and staff are invited. Light refreshments and snacks available.
What You Can Experience
- Live VR demonstrations: Explore the human body in 3D and design 3D digital art.
- Virtual Rebel Experience: Built by UNLV students, the VR campus experience highlights the Rebel journey. Climb a rock wall, try a chemistry experiment, and explore campus life and resources.
- Meet the experts: The Immersive Learning team can answer questions and talk about how this space can support classes and student projects.
The lab represents a collaboration between UNLV Libraries, the Teaching & Learning Commons, and Information Technology. For more information, visit the Immersive Learning webpage or watch the latest episode of The Real BS About AI podcast.
