Human Resources Professional Development (HRPD) in partnership with EAB, will host a session for supervisors as part of the Foundations of Connections series.

Workplace Civility: Leading with Respect and Psychological Safety

This interactive session equips UNLV faculty and staff leaders with practical strategies to foster a culture of respect, accountability, and inclusion. Through guided self-reflection and discussion, participants will explore how workplace incivility arises and its impact on team trust and performance.

The workshop introduces the concept of psychological safety and its three pillars: the ability to contribute ideas,share information and report mistakes without fear. Leaders will learn actionable practices that promote civil discourse, compassionate leadership, and active listening. Participants will leave with tools to model the behaviors that support safe, engaged and high-performing teams. See detail below:
