HSI Resource Hub Webinar: Mentoring in STEM Oct. 2

Join Courtney Luedke, an associate professor of educational policy studies from University of Illinois Chicago, for Mentoring that Makes a Difference: Developing Authentic Mentoring Practices That Build Meaningful Relationships with Students at HSIs from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, via Zoom.

In this webinar, Luedke will explore the critical role mentoring plays in the student experience and its potential to shape career pathways and aspirations in STEM. Because most faculty receive little or no training in mentoring and often learn to mentor based on their own experiences, Luedke will share what research tells us about effective mentoring in STEM, research-based practices faculty can use to strengthen their mentoring, and how intentional mentoring can improve relationships with students in the lab and classroom.

RSVP to receive a calendar invitation and Zoom login information.
