First Responder Training Exercise at Former 99 Cent Store Aug. 26

UNLV is partnering with the Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) to provide real-world training for their staff. The training exercise will take place at the former 99 Cent store located on Flamingo Road just north of Maryland Parkway on Aug. 26 from 8-10 a.m.

During this time you can expect to see emergency response vehicles and first responders using the roof, entering and exiting the building. You may also hear loud noises and see smoke from a simulated fire.

Thank you for your cooperation.
