Deadline Extended: Spring 2026 Catalyst Grant Program

UNLV’s Office of Economic Development, in partnership with the Harrah College of Hospitality, International Gaming Institute, and Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering, has extended the submission deadline for the Spring 2026 Catalyst Grant Program to Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at noon.

At this stage, you do not need a finalized agreement with your industry sponsor. However, the sponsor must be identified, and you should be actively working with the Office of Economic Development to establish a sponsored research agreement. This agreement must be fully executed prior to the award notification date on Dec. 12, 2025.

The Catalyst Grant Program offers up to $75,000 per award, the program supports faculty–industry collaborations that advance innovation in hospitality, gaming, and entertainment. Projects must include an industry partner match and leverage UNLV’s Black Fire Innovation Lab.
