Call for Proposals: 2026 NSHE Southern Nevada Diversity Summit

UNLV, in collaboration with the College of Southern Nevada and Nevada State University, invites faculty and staff from all NSHE institutions to submit presentation proposals for the 2026 NSHE Southern Nevada Diversity Summit.

Theme:

Cultivating Community: Strengthening Pathways to Learning, Employment, and Community Prosperity

  • Summit Date: Friday, Nov. 13, 2026
  • Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Location: College of Southern Nevada, North Las Vegas Campus 

The summit provides an opportunity for faculty and staff across NSHE to share innovative ideas, promising practices, and research while fostering meaningful conversations that strengthen learning, employment, and community prosperity.

Call for Proposals:

Presentation proposals are now being accepted and must be submitted by Monday, Sept. 14 at noon.

Faculty and staff interested in presenting are encouraged to contact Yaa Obeng at yaa.obeng@unlv.edu for additional proposal information and to request the Proposal Scoring Rubric.

Additional details regarding the summit will be shared as they become available.
