Boo Bash 2026: Attend, Donate Candy, or Volunteer!

Housing & Residential Life invites the UNLV community to Boo Bash 2026, a free, family-friendly Halloween celebration on Friday, October 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Tonopah Lawn!

Boo Bash welcomes UNLV students, faculty, staff, families, and the surrounding community for an evening of Halloween fun. Attendees can enjoy indoor trick-or-treating, inflatables, a petting zoo, therapy dogs, activities and games, community and student organization tables, giveaways, and more! There will also be free food while supplies last from Aramark, California Pizza Kitchen, and Capriotti’s. Costumes are encouraged!

Help Stock Boo Bash Through Our Candy Drive

To help provide candy for hundreds of Boo Bash attendees, Housing & Residential Life is hosting its first annual Boo Bash Candy Drive through Oct. 9.

Anyone — including students, faculty, staff, departments, organizations, and community members — can participate. For every 250 individually wrapped pieces of candy donated, donors can receive one raffle entry for a chance to win prizes donated by community partners, including four tickets to The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, along with additional Las Vegas experiences, tickets, gift cards, and more.

To have your donation count toward the raffle, qualifying donations can be dropped off at the Tonopah Complex front desk, Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., or mailed to:

Brookelyn Gilbert – ATTN: Work Purchase

1130 University Rd.

Las Vegas, NV 89119

Please include your name, phone number, and email address with mailed donations so we can contact you if you win. In-person donations must be dropped off by October 9, and mailed donations must be postmarked by October 9.

Not interested in the raffle? Candy donation boxes will also be placed at various locations across campus, making it easy to contribute any amount of individually wrapped candy. Please note that candy placed in these general collection boxes will not count toward raffle entries.

Volunteer at Boo Bash!

We are also looking for volunteers to help make Boo Bash possible! Volunteers will assist with areas such as event check-in, activity and attraction support, candy restocking, first aid, and general event support. Volunteers can sign up here.

Volunteers should plan to arrive at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, with Boo Bash running from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Whether you attend with your family, donate candy, volunteer, or do all three, we would love to have you be part of Boo Bash 2026 and help make Halloween special for the UNLV and Las Vegas communities!
