Congratulations to Janet Runge on being selected as one of the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award recipients for August 2026. Runge serves as the enrichment coordinator of entrepreneurial programs within the Lee Business School at UNLV. The nominators wrote: 

“Dr. Runge consistently demonstrates initiative and attention to detail in her work. When she identifies areas that need updating or clarification, she takes the initiative to work with colleagues to resolve the issues. She is also widely known for her willingness to assist others with questions regarding policies, procedures, and administrative processes. When staff members encounter unfamiliar situations, Dr. Runge often helps them navigate the appropriate steps or directs them to the correct resources. Her strong sense of accountability and commitment to excellence make her a reliable and trusted member of the Lee Business School community. She takes pride in ensuring that operations within the college run smoothly and that faculty, staff, and students receive the support they need. Dr. Runge is widely recognized because of her knowledge, professionalism, and approachable nature. She interacts daily with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners, and she consistently treats everyone with respect and professionalism. Her adaptability, reliability, and strong work ethic make her an invaluable member of the leadership support team.”

The Administrative Faculty of the Month awards recognize outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond in their duties in advancing UNLV’s mission. The winning recipients receive a certificate and $150 in recognition of their contributions. Nominations for the September 2026 awards are due by Sept. 30, 2026.
