Career-minded summer camps are a wonderful way to keep kids’ brains active when they aren’t in school. At UNLV, the Young Rebels program offers hands-on programming for elementary, middle and high schoolers, with many offerings at $300 or less. Computer science, archaeology and classical guitar are just a few examples
Hundreds of middle and high school students, along with their families, gathered at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, on Saturday for the 27th Annual Economic Summit & Student Leadership Conference (ESSLC). The event, designed to prepare students for post-secondary success in college and their chosen careers, featured morning workshops led by industry professionals, educators, college admissions specialists, and financial literacy experts.
