Kevin Wright (Student Diversity & Social Justice) received the African Student Association Kingdom Trailblazer Award. This award focus on faculty and staff within the university who have stride to assist students by any means necessary, and for those who have gone above and beyond their job description.

Kevin Wright (Student Diversity & Social Justice) and Sarah Kutten (University of Oregon) presented at the Western Regional Conference of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. The topic was "#WhileBlack: Cultivating Black Student Development through Supervision, Advising, and Student Engagement."
