Department of Clinical Sciences News
The Clinical Sciences department within UNLV School of Dental Medicine houses all general treatment clinics; the general practice, orthodontic, and pediatric specialty clinics; the emergency/oral surgery clinic; and the Faculty Dental Practice, which functions similarly to a private practice dental office. Dental students and residents provide the majority of care overseen by licensed dental faculty.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine has launched its new Advanced Needs Dental Clinic, designed to cater to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, geriatric residents, and those with special needs, including children born with craniofacial anomalies such as cleft palates.
