Students interested in taking courses at UNLV for college credit while still in high school should contact their high school counselors to determine if they would be eligible to participate in UNLV's Early Studies Program.
The program is open to high school juniors and seniors who meet certain requirements. After talking with their counselors, interested students should call 895-3177 to arrange to attend one of several meetings concerning the program. The meetings will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5 p.m., beginning Nov. 8 and continuing through Jan. 10.
Among the requirements for participation in the Early Studies Program is a minimum grade point average of 3.0 for high school seniors and 3.5 for juniors. Approval of the student's high school counselor also is required.
