Valarie Burke, Alissa Gardner, and Ashlyn Gray (Graduate College) represented UNLV at the Gardner Institute’s Graduate Student Experience Conference, held Oct. 29-31, 2025, in Chicago. Burke delivered a session titled “Creating Connections: The Role of Graduate Student Organizations in Building Community.” Gardner presented “The Grad Academy: Empowering Student Growth Beyond the Classroom,” and Gray shared “Funding Success: Redesigning Graduate Student Scholarship and Fellowship Support at UNLV.” Their presentations highlighted UNLV’s commitment to enhancing the graduate student experience through innovation, collaboration, and leadership.
