Honors: Stonewall Suites, Sawyer Spackman, Andrew Lignelli, and National Residence Hall Honorary

Stonewall Suites, the office of housing & residential life's newest thematic community, was nationally recognized as "Community of the Month" for August by the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH). Student leaders from across the country voted on the award. Eight regional nominees had been submitted by chapters of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH). UNLV's submission for Stonewall Suites, which is located in South Complex, highlighted the university's first LGBTQIA+ Gender Inclusive floor community. Students, parents, and staff have commented on how welcoming Stonewall is and what a wonderful addition it is to UNLV. The nomination was prepared by South Complex residential life coordinator Andrew Lignelli. Sawyer Spackman is the resident assistant. This is the first national "Of the Month" win for UNLV's Rho Epsilon Beta chapter of NRHH since 2012.
