The Nevada Section of the Pierre Fauchard Academy held its annual induction ceremony, honoring faculty members Dr. Sonal Shah and Dr. Karen Kucharski (both Dental Medicine), and dental school alumna Dr. Joanna Shen ('19).
Founded in 1936, the Pierre Fauchard Academy is an international dental honor organization that recognizes leaders and future leaders in the profession. Fellowship is by nomination only, and is extended to fewer than 3% internationally. The honor of fellowship is conferred on those dentists who have demonstrated service or have great potential for service and leadership. The academy has more than 7,000 Fellows around the world.
