Dr. Sonal Shah (Dental) has been appointed to the Joint Commission on National Dental Exams (JCNDE) as a member of the Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) test construction team. Her roles include using her subject matter expertise to develop exams and exam questions. She also will participate in JCNDE meetings and strategic planning.

She also has been reappointed as an American Dental Association CODA site visitor for oral pathology residency programs. As a site visitor, she evaluates a program’s curriculum, faculty, facilities, student evaluation, outcomes assessment, and other broad areas. After a comprehensive comparison of the developed standards, Shah makes accreditation recommendations to the CODA review committee.
