The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents officially gave their approval of Dr. Samantha John (Brain Health) receiving the Jason Geddes Rising Researcher award in their last meeting. This is a prestigious award at UNLV and really highlights John's scientific contributions as well as the efforts to build and grow the outreach and community engagement in Las Vegas that is part of her work.
