Presentation: Rian Satterwhite and Tamara Marino

Rian Satterwhite (Service Learning and Leadership) and Tamara Marino (Community Engagement) presented at the recent Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities annual conference in Philadelphia. Their presentation was titled "Grounding Service-Learning Theory and Practice in Las Vegas."

Additionally, Satterwhite presented three concurrent sessions, facilitated one full-day pre-conference session, and one spotlight symposium luncheon at the recent International Leadership Association annual global conference in Ottawa, Canada. 

Session titles included:

  • Cultivating globally conscious leaders: Incorporating sustainable development goals in leadership education
  • Organizing at every level: Centering social and ecological justice in leadership
  • Sustainability leadership: Deep reflection on conference learning
  • Uniquely Ottawan perspectives on sustainability leadership
