The Rebel Events Board, along with the numerous organizations that are part of Fraternity & Sorority Life, worked hard during homecoming week to raise money, present programming, and collect box tops for the students at Paradise Elementary School as part of the 8th annual Adopt-A-School project.
From Oct. 16 -18 the UNLV students raised $4,669 for Paradise, tripling their donation from the year before. They also collected nearly $350 in box tops and donated $125 in Target and Walmart gift cards.
This made the donation a grand total of $5,141. The Rebel Events Board planned a week full of engaging and school spirit-based events for the university community, and the numerous Fraternity and Sorority Organizations (Alpha Tau Omega, Alpha Xi Delta, Tau Kappa Epsilon, Epsilon Alpha Sigma, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Kappa, Lambda Chi Alpha, Zeta Tau Alpha, Alpha Phi Gamma, Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Sigma, Omega Delta Phi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Pi Kappa Epsilon, Gamma Phi Beta, Tri Sigma, Alpha Epsilon Pi, and Delta Chi) that participated in homecoming 2017.
