Ph.D. student Rakshitha Mohankumar and Brenna Renn (both Psychology) co-presented a national webinar on mental health for older adults of marginalized identities for the American Society on Aging. Over 300 attendees participated in the live session, and approximately 400 others registered for asynchronous content, which is available until May. This presentation addressed ageism and social determinants of health; mental health needs of diverse older persons; and real-world implementation of solutions, including primary care mental health integration. The presentation offered continuing education credits for a diverse array of providers. Renn's UNLV TREATment Lab seeks to improve access to behavioral health care for underserved older adults.
