Several departments and offices across campus came together to support the fifth annual Nevada Science Olympiad as hundreds of middle and high school STEM students throughout the Silver State came to UNLV to showcase their projects.
Categories for the Nevada Science Olympiad included Life, Personal & Social Science; Earth & Space Science; Physical Science & Chemistry; Technology & Engineering Design; and Inquiry & Nature of Science.
The event allowed the students and their families opportunities to enjoy a day of science, learning, and fun while also discovering more about the UNLV campus.
