Maureen Schafer (Medicine) was interviewed live on the FOX 5 Morning Show this week. She joined anchor Jason Feinberg to talk about Nevada’s doctor shortage and how the School of Medicine is working to attract the best and the brightest to Southern Nevada. In a nearly four-minute-long segment, Schafer explained how the school is pursuing its mission of creating a world-class center of excellence and innovation for medical education, patient care, and research. She also provided an update on efforts to add to the core of talented physicians already in Southern Nevada.
