LaToya Burdiss, Erin Farrar, Arthur Hockwald, Steven Kinsey, Jannelvy Martinez, Sarah Repman, and Timothy Toepfer (all Campus Recreational Services) recently presented at the 2017 National Intramural & Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) Conference in San Diego. The purpose of the conference is to share and learn about the latest trends in collegiate recreation. Presentations included:
"Seek to See More: How Regular Evaluation Develops Student Employees," presented by Kinsey, Burdiss, Repman, and Martinez. (This presentation has been selected for the 2018 National NIRSA Conference)
"If You Build It, They Will Lead: The Impact of a Student Led Sport Club Council," presented by Burdiss, Farrar, Kinsey, Martinez, and Toepfer.
"Blank Slate: Designing a Personal Training Program from Underground to Skies the Limit," presented by Hockwald and Michelle Leachman of UC Santa Barbara.
