The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV was recognized for its outstanding contributions and significant progress in highway safety research. Funded by grants from the Nevada office of traffic safety, principal investigator Dr. Deborah Kuhls, project director Laura Gryder (both Medicine), and a team of passionate faculty, staff, and student researchers were honored as Nevada Zero Fatalities' May 2021 Traffic Safety Champion.
