Julian Kilker (Journalism and Media Studies) co-curated and exhibited documentary and data-focused photography in "At the Heart of Basin and Range" exhibition now on display at the Metro Gallery in Reno City Hall in Reno. First exhibited last year in Las Vegas, this project celebrates the 10th anniversary of Nevada’s Basin and Range National Monument, and is sponsored by Nevada Humanities, an independent state humanities council affiliated with the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).

Included in the exhibition are works from and about multiple stakeholders in the Basin and Range National Monument, as well as photographs contributed by Sarah Jones (Head, Technical Services, UNLV Special Collections) from the Glenn A. Davis collection at Lied Library.

The Reno exhibition runs from Feb. 23 to April 17, 2026; the opening reception and curators' talk was held March 5, 2026.
