Honors: Healthy Rebels
The Healthy Rebels (Student Wellness), a team of nationally certified peer wellness educators at UNLV, won a BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA award for Outstanding Peer Education Program at the 2017 BACCHUS General Assembly in November. They were recognized for the "Humans of UNLV" social media initiative, which highlights how students develop resilience as a capacity for retention and graduation. The Healthy Rebels presented twice at the assembly to a national audience, educating other students and staff from around the country on social media-based resilience education.
