Euiseong Ko and Mingon Kang (both Computer Science) are a co-author and a corresponding author on a new conference paper, "PathCNN: Interpretable Convolutional Neural Networks for Survival Prediction and Pathway Analysis Applied to Glioblastoma," in International Society for Computational Biology (ISMB), which is a #1 ranked bioinformatics conference. The publication is achieved by the research collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The proposed PathCNN converts multi-omics data into image type data to leverage pathway-based convolutional neural network. Ko is a Ph.D. student in the DataX research lab.
