UNLV's Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach (CAEO) was awarded two Educational Opportunity Search grants. Combined these grants are funded for $2.7m and will serve over 2,000 low-income and/or first-generation adults (in zip codes with low four-year degree attainment) per year over the five-year grant period.
Educational Opportunity Center Overview
The goal of EOC is to increase the number of adult participants who enroll in postsecondary education institutions. Key services include academic advising and counseling, financial literacy, career exploration, tutoring, GED support, assistance completing FAFSA and college applications, and assistance preparing for college entrance exams.
