Brett Abarbanel (International Gaming Institute), Sally Gainsbury (University of Sydney), Kahlil Philander (Washington State University), and Jeff Butler (University of California, Merced) published a paper, "Customized Responsible Gambling Messaging as a Tool to Encourage Help-Seeking,” in BMC Public Health. The paper analyzes how responsible gambling measures may be more effective if they are customized to individual player needs.
