April Ursula Fox (Educational Psychology) presented the workshop "Integrating Zines into Educational Psychology Courses: A New Teaching Tool"  at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) event hosted by the Teaching Educational Psychology SiG. The workshop gave practical and hands-on techniques for implementing zines (a DIY mini-magazine) into educational activities including formative and summative assessment. The techniques are applicable to educators outside of educational psychology, and Fox welcomes collaborations with others interested in implementing zines in classrooms and other educational activities, both formal and informal.
