Alanna Bitzel (Writing Center) hosted a session on Friday, February 27 at the 2026 South Central Writing Centers Association Conference in Norman, Oklahoma. The session, "Making New Maps: Navigating AI Literacy for Writing Center Tutors," was led by the four members of the Tutor Talks Executive Committee, a group of tutors responsible for coordinating virtual professional development sessions for writing center tutors. Miranda Hannasch, a graduate student in UNLV's English Department and Lead Consultant at the UNLV Writing Center, serves on the Committee.
