Virtual New Employee Orientation

Human Resources adjusted its operations in response to the current climate surrounding COVID-19 and in keeping with UNLV's Coronavirus Guidelines, the University's New Employee Benefits Orientation sessions have were changed from in-person to virtual online sessions.

The virtual orientation consists of two separate sessions you may register for.

  • Session 1 covers Introduction to UNLV resources, onboarding, and Workday
  • Session 2 covers health insurance, voluntary benefits, and retirement

Who Should Attend

All newly benefit eligible full-time faculty and staff members, including those who go from part-time to regular full-time, should attend New Employee Orientation.

How to Register to Attend New Employee Orientation

To enroll in one or both of the virtual New Employee Benefit Orientation sessions, click on the link(s) below to register.  Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email to add the event to your calendar.  A separate email invite will be sent to provide you with a Webex link to join on the day of the orientation.

Orientation Schedule

Virtual Orientation classes will be conducted once a month. Orientation can be attended before your first date of employment, or within one month of being hired.
