Poster Run is a service provided by the Student Organization Resource Center (SORCE) Staff. It is designed to help Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) market themselves and their events on campus. The staff makes weekly “Poster Runs” to post flyers at various locations around campus. These locations are comprised mostly of Free Posting Boards or boards managed by individual departments. The SORCE Staff does not manage the posting boards and therefore cannot take responsibility for missing or destroyed posters.

Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) and University Departments

  • Due to the large volume of poster submissions, priority will be given to the first 25 posters submitted each week and/or to those submitted by 7pm on the Tuesday before the Friday morning poster run. Submit flyers to the SORCE Room
    • Flyers will be accepted up to 7pm on Thursday the night before the Friday morning but may not be posted if space does not allow.
  • RSO’s and Departments may only submit one flyer per a poster run
  • Submit twenty-five (25) copies for campus bulletin boards and/or fifty (50) copies for the residential halls, for a total of seventy-five  (75)
  • 8.5x11inches maximum size
  • Must be RSO or department sponsored
  • Flyers will be posted for a maximum of 2 weeks so the event cannot be more than 2 weeks in advance.
  • All flyers must abide by the RSO Manual and UNLV Posting Policy.

Summer 2026

No Poster Runs

Fall 2026

  • ​Normal Scheduled Poster Run: Friday, August 21, 2026 - Friday, December 4, 2026.
  • ​Thursday, October 29, 2026 (adjusted for Nevada Day)
    • ​Flyers are due Wednesday, October 27th before 7 p.m. to the SORCE room.
  • ​Wednesday, November 25, 2026 (adjusted for break)
    • ​Flyers are due Tuesday, November 24th before 7 p.m. to the SORCE room.

Spring 2027

  • ​Normal Scheduled Poster Run: Friday, January 15, 2027 - Friday, May 7, 2027
  • ​There will be no poster run on Friday, March 19, 2027 due to Spring Break Recess

Please note: Poster Run is a privilege provided to RSOs who are in good standing, this privilege can be revoked if in bad standing.
