Mission Statement
The Neuroscience iRDA cluster is dedicated to advancing our understanding of the nervous system by fostering multidisciplinary research across the full spectrum of neuroscience from basic neuronal function to behavior, cognition, and neurological or psychiatric disorders. As one of the fastest growing scientific fields, neuroscience demands collaborative teams with broad disciplinary expertise to address the complexity of brain function and its impact on behavior. UNLV is rapidly emerging as a hub for neuroscience excellence, and our mission is to build on this institutional strength by uniting researchers across diverse disciplines to spark new research directions and advance transformative projects that deepen our understanding of the brain.
