The Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine (NIPM) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor Positions. The institute is building excellence in personalized medicine to improve health services and outcomes. We seek team-oriented candidates with research interests, expertise, and accomplishments in pharmacogenomics, translational bioinformatics, genetics, genomics, epigenetics or next generation sequencing (NGS) technology. The candidate for the bioinformatics position will be expected to establish a research program studying prevention or disease etiology using genetic, genomic, and NGS data. Candidates with genomics and NGS experience are preferred for the human genetics position. Although this is a research focused position, some teaching is expected.
