Athletics invites the campus community to our Build-A-Bed event on April 20!
The Build a Bed Project was born out of our student-athletes commitment to help provide beds for over 4,000 underprivileged kids in Clark County who sleep on the floor, two to three to a bed or two on a couch or air mattress.
The organization we partner with is "Sleep in Heavenly Peace'' with a motto that "No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in our Town." In the spring of 2022, we built 100 beds. This was the most beds ever built in a day for this organization. Over 350 of our student-athletes participated on that day and we are planning for a similar showing this year. You don't need to be an expert in power tools to participate.
