The National Institute for the Advancement of Education is built on a foundation of innovation and research intended to identify and disseminate next‑generation practices in urban education and PK‑20 educator preparation. It explores education innovations that serve as models nationally and internationally, leveraging the rich diversity of our communities.
The 2024-2025 NIAE Grant Program supports interdisciplinary research-practice- policy efforts that advance social justice and equitable access to education and wrap-around services for all students, families, communities, and educators at the local, state, national, and international levels.
The grant program provides funding from $2,500 to up to $25,000 for selected projects. The 2024-2025 NIAE Grant Program specifically targets identifying, developing, and evaluating innovative educator retention practices.
Eligibility: The 2024-2025 NIAE Grant Program cycle is open to all Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) faculty; all University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) graduate students; and practitioners/community members practicing in the state of Nevada or working in education-related or educational service organizations.
