Research volunteers are needed for study to understand eating behaviors during Ramadan for Muslim women. This project has the potential to better the mental health of the women in our community and is the first of its kind in America. We need your help in understanding eating behaviors, religiosity, social connectedness, self-compassion, and other traits in our community.
Financial compensation of up to $105 dollars will be provided to participants depending on the number of surveys they fill out. The study will entail a one hour baseline survey and five online 30-minute weekly surveys around and during the time of Ramadan. Those Muslim women aged 18 and older, who intend to fast during Ramadan are invited to learn more about the study and complete a brief eligibility survey online.
