Mental Health Resource Table & President’s Mental Health Town Hall Feb. 27

A Mental Health Resource Table for faculty, staff, and students will be available from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27 in the Student Union Art Gallery on the 2nd Floor.

The resource table is being offered in conjunction with a President’s Mental Health Town Hall, an event for students taking place on the same day from 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom A. The town hall will focus on issues of recovery and resilience building following trauma. This is an interactive event with President Whitfield, UNLV mental health professionals and Project Wellness peers, answering students’ questions and teaching resilience skills such as managing reactions and helpful thinking.

For faculty or staff who may be interested in encouraging students to attend the President’s Mental Health Town Hall, please let them know that seating is limited to 90 students and they can register online

No registration is required for faculty or staff interested in attending the Mental Health Resource Table.
