Call for Nominations: Roosevelt Fitzgerald Outstanding Student Award in Academic Achievement and Leadership

The UNLV Alliance of Professionals of African Heritage (APAH) is accepting nominations for its Roosevelt Fitzgerald Outstanding Student Award in Academic Achievement and Leadership. The deadline to submit all the necessary forms is 5 p.m. Friday, April 26.

This award is presented to students of African heritage in good standing, based on academic performance, campus leadership, and university participation. The awards will be presented during the 38th annual APAH Awards Ceremony scheduled for Friday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m., in the Student Union Ballroom. The recipient will receive a UNLV Bookstore Award. 

Complete the online nominator’s form for any UNLV student of African heritage whom you believe warrants this high distinction. Please ask the student(s) you nominate to complete the online nominee’s portion of this application. Please send a detailed submission to the Roosevelt Fitzgerald Award Committee by 5 p.m., April 26 through the online nomination forms.
